Catalina – A Bright, Fruity Single Origin from Peru

Catalina is a vibrant and refreshing coffee with a delicate aroma of stone fruit and zesty lemon. Tasting notes of raspberry fizz and orange are balanced by natural sweetness, while subtle hints of plum and nutmeg round out the cup. This medium-light roast offers a smooth mouthfeel, balanced acidity, and a clean, satisfying finish—perfect for those who enjoy complexity and brightness in their brew.

Grown on the scenic Santa Rosa Farm in the Río Tambo region of Peru, Catalina reflects the richness of its origin. The Amazonian highlands provide an ideal environment for cultivating exceptional coffee, with warm year-round temperatures, fertile river-fed soils, and elevations ranging from 600 to over 1,500 metres. These conditions foster coffees with vivid acidity and fruity undertones.

At Santa Rosa, sustainability is at the heart of everything. The coffee is shade-grown beneath the rainforest canopy—no slash-and-burn required—and post-harvest processes are carefully managed using polytunnels to maximise quality. The farm also champions biodiversity by avoiding deforestation and using only natural fertilisers, keeping the coffee organic and the surrounding ecosystem thriving.

Lighter than our beloved Mayni roast, Catalina brings a fresh perspective to your daily coffee ritual. Whether you’re savouring a quiet morning cup or brewing a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up, Catalina delivers clarity, character, and a taste of Peru in every sip.
