Our Catalina Christmas Coffee has a delicate aroma of stone fruit and zesty lemon, with notes of raspberry fizz and orange, offering a refreshing sip. Its natural sweetness brings warmth and depth, while subtle flavours of plum and nutmeg round out the profile. This medium-light roast has a smooth mouthfeel, balanced acidity, and a clean, satisfying finish—perfect for those who appreciate complexity in their cup.

Catalina’s exceptional flavour is a testament to its origins. Grown on the scenic Santa Rosa Farm in the Río Tambo region of Peru, this coffee benefits from the unique conditions of the Amazonian highlands. Río Tambo offers an ideal climate for coffee cultivation with warm year-round temperatures and fertile, river-enriched soils. The region's altitude, ranging from 600 to over 1,500 metres, coupled with balanced wet and dry seasons, fosters vibrant coffee with bright acidity and fruity undertones.

Catalina and the Santa Rosa Farm community are deeply committed to sustainable farming practices. They cultivate their beans using shade-grown techniques, allowing the coffee plants to thrive under the rainforest canopy, so there’s no need for slash-and-burn. This method, combined with the use of polytunnels and careful post-harvest attention, ensures that each bean reaches its highest quality. Dedicated to preserving the surrounding ecosystem, Santa Rosa actively protects local biodiversity by preventing deforestation and exclusively using natural fertilisers. These efforts ensure that the coffee remains organic while helping to conserve the forest.
