In our pursuit of celebrating indigenous women, we have partnered with Dalia Casancho, an inspiring leader of the Mayni Community and dedicated stewardess of the Amazon Rainforest. Dalia grows, harvests, and produces her own honey process micro-lot, which has been meticulously milled along with the dried parchment coffee, still with the sticky, sugary juice from the coffee cherry still present to bring out its finest qualities. The beans are turned multiple times a day and require more care than your typical coffee, however Dalia’s process results in a sweet and complex cup that truly embodies her passion and expertise. This extra effort might seem small, but it makes a world of difference in the final product. Each sip reveals the rich flavours and delicate nuances that make this coffee worth savouring.

In the rolling foothills of the Amazon rainforest, about six hours drive from the nearest town of Satipo in Eastern Peru, live a beautiful, isolated community who grow incredible coffee beneath the forest canopy. Amidst a vibrant tapestry of foliage and wildlife, The Mayni harness their natural landscape while protecting the ecosystem that surrounds them, ensuring the delicate balance between fauna and flora remains undisturbed.
