Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and personable part-time Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving sales growth between London and the South West region. As an integral part of our sales team, you will represent our brand values, promote our product offerings, and contribute to the continued success and expansion of our business.

This role is initially part-time, with a view to increase to full-time for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
    • Provide specialty coffee expertise, technical consultation and training to wholesale customers
    • Assist with acquiring and retaining high-quality wholesale accounts, with an emphasis on independent cafes, restaurants, hotels, and retail
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives
    • Assist with equipment installations and provide technical support
    • At times conduct on-site training, tastings, and cuppings when necessary to educate and engage clients
    • Effectively troubleshoot client problems in a timely manner
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer support
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts
    • Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking
    • At times represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and cultivate new business opportunities

 

You’ll be perfect for the role if you are:

    • Passionate about coffee and making a difference in the environmental sector
    • Barista trained or coffee making skills are to a high standard 
    • Proven track record of success in sales or account management roles
    • Strong understanding of ethical sourcing, sustainability, and direct-trade principles
    • Knowledge of different coffee machinery
    • Excellent communication skills with a confident personality, and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
    • Energetic and self-motivated with strong self-management skills
    • A great team player, willing to speak up and help shape team decisions
    • Well organised, strategic and growth mindset
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Google platforms (Word, Excel)
    • Valid driver's license and vehicle, with willingness to travel within the London and South West region as needed

This is a remote role. Most internal meetings are carried out via video however we hold bi-annual in person meetings at our roastery in Nottingham.
